Introduction

Our company started to develop and produce damping materials since the 1970s and successively undertook research topics such as national “8th Five-Year”, “Ninth Five-Year”, and “Tenth Five-Year” damping damping and noise reduction. D-801, D-802, and D-803 series damping materials have been introduced and have been widely used in ships, machinery, locomotives, and other fields.

A damping material is a functional material that can absorb mechanical vibration energy and acoustic energy and convert it into heat energy and dissipate it to achieve vibration reduction and noise reduction. Rubber based on its own unique viscoelasticity, when it is subjected to periodic deformation by external forces, the molecular chain produces relative displacement, through the internal friction between molecules, a part of mechanical energy is converted into heat energy and dissipated, thus playing a damping effect. Since the 1970s, the Institute has been developing and producing damping materials. It has successively assumed the research topics of the national “Eighth Five-Year”, “Ninth Five-Year”, and “Tenth Five-Year” aspects of damping vibration and noise reduction, and has successively introduced D- Series 801, D-802, D-803 and other series of damping materials have been widely used in ships, machinery, locomotives and other fields.

Damping rubber material has two kinds of damping structure of free layer and constrained layer, and it has excellent performance of vibration reduction and noise reduction under the environment. It has been praised by customers at home and abroad.
